emirates palace relaunches as a mandarin oriental. goshá buro produced the grand launch party, that saw the palace terrace transformed into a golden maze of experiences for guests to make their own palace memories. media & vip guests were invited to explore the new era of emirates palace, from lavish food displays to signature cocktail bars, while being wowed by the extensive entertainment line-up; from roaming acrobats & performers, to the world-of-fans dance and music performances on the main stage. the highlight of the night was when the huge 3D cube came to life to tell the story of the palace & unveil the specially designed fan of the hotel, ending in a stunning & dramatic fireworks display, showcasing to all of abu dhabi that the palace is now a mandarin oriental hotel. guests were then treated to a energetic performance by parov stellar, and the night ended with a dj-set by gallivanter. nothing was spared on this opulent evening. after all, gold is gold.
