marmar halim unveiled her AW23 collection during dubai fashion week. named ‘hawma’a’ meaning desert in arabic, the collection looks at arab fashion from a new angel. inspiration were taken from timeless cuts and silhouettes throughout history and manipulated into modern and fun gowns, with exaggerated details, unfinished finishings and manipulated fabrics and draped silhouettes. gosha buro designed a set imitating a desert moon landscape, highlighting the historic yet futuristic nature of the collection.
